Corte Vigna is crafted with native grapes from Puglia. This Sangiovese has a complex olfactory fragrance with aromas of fresh fruit and raspberries, good structure and dry flavour.

At the end of thier old vine garden path there is a historic Menagerie of three grape varieties, adjoining blocks of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro at Gomersal in the Barossa. After hand-picking selected bunches of the Menagerie field blend in mid March their winemaker Elena Brooks let the whole bunches ferment together in open top fermenters with ambient or other people's yeasts. The wine was hand plunged for 14 days, before basket pressing into old French Oak barriques, to then mature for a further 12 months in the same oak, before bottling without fining or filtration to capture the essence of our vinous Menagerie of the Barossa. This vintage of our Menagerie of the Barossa has a high level of natural acidity, and is bone dry, it is ménage à trois that makes wine truly of its time and place, a wish come true and a looking glass, if you will, and although ready to drink immediately it will also reward cellaring and decanting.

The cuvée 'Saint-Esprit' comes from a small valley nestled in the northern part of the Ardèche. The vineyards are planted on granite, south-facing slopes near the villages of Saint-Julien and Saint-Alban. Its deep colour has a dark, plum-like hue. The nose is classically Syrah, with berry fruit, violet, liquorice. It has a full, rounded palate with delicate tannins, making it unique in the Côtes-du-Rhône category.

Sangiovese 85%, Merlot 10%, Other red grapes 5%. Clear, ruby-red in colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure. Perfumes of cherries and fresh red fruit, mingle with spicy, peppery notes. The wine is lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft, rounded tannins. Good intensity, attractive structure and fine, long length.

The Medici Lambrusco colour is intense ruby red. The bouquet is fruity and persistent with violet scent leading to sweet, fruity, fresh, lively and pleasantly harmonious. The froth is fine and rich when poured.

The climate of the Barossa Valley is not dissimilar to the warm, dry regions of Europe where the origins of the Grenache can be traced. The region is held in very high regard for this varietal and boasts some of the oldest vines in Australia. The 2024 Bin 21 release immediately captivates with a bright and alluring perfume of floral notes and exotic spice. With fruit sourced from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, it delivers a harmonious balance of freshness and structure. A distinctive minerality immediately strikes the palate, a signature of the terroirs from which this Grenache hails.
