As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice. The nose offers an enthralling medley of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, layered with dark plums and a touch of black pepper. Beneath the surface lie brooding notes of dark chocolate and a hint of roasted meats. The palate is rich and structured, bursting with bright fruit flavours. Silky, plush tannins provide length and finesse, leading to a soft, full-flavoured finish.

Winemaking is a science and an art. Who knows if it was the scientist or the artist that came up with the idea of blending red and white wine, but whoever did was a genius! The smallest amount of Viognier transforms the already spectacular ripe, berry Shiraz into a wine of depth, complexity and youthful intensity - true indulgence.

Deep red, purple in colour with aromas of dark berries and chocolate flavours of dark cherry and plum are fleshy and long. The balance of sweet fruit, subtle oak and soft tannins make this wine silky smooth and delicious.

St Hallett has been producing fine wines since it was established in 1944. All of the fruit used in every bottle of St Hallett wine is grown, made and matured in the Barossa with some of the fruit coming from some of the oldest vineyards in the world. Shiraz Grenache Touriga - This wine is a great example of bright fruit and varietal characteristics and shows lots of lush plum and cherry flavours up front.

The wine has a wonderful aroma displaying dark plum, redcurrant and red cherry fruits along with subtle chocolate and a touch of oak derived spice. The palate is plump & generous with ripe fruit characters of plum, cherry and redcurrant. Mocha coffee and subtle aniseed characters are also present along with vanillan oak to balance the fruit flavours. The wine is medium-bodied with a soft mid-palate & pleasing tannin structure. It is a well balanced wine with great texture, good length and enjoyable fruit flavours on the finish.

The luscious elegance of the Clare Valley fruit marries superbly with the slightly peppery fruit from McLaren Vale.
