The wine has rich pink tones, with aromas of bright raspberry and strawberry fruits. On the palate the wine is fine textured and fleshy through the mid palate, finishing with a gentle sweetness, balanced by a crisp acidity and a lingering finish. Serve as an aperitif or with cured pork or salmon.

Grown predominantly on our cooler Matapiro vineyard, this site produces vibrant, flavourful Sauvignon Blanc. Passionfruit, elderflower, grapefruit and herbal undertones are carried on a finely textured palate, enhance with a touch of new French Oak.

The palate is rounded in the mouth, with gentle citrus and white peach characters, enfolded in layers of crème patissière and hazelnut.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A succulent nose of yellow fruits with hints of pomegranate, pear and vanilla. Tangerine aromas and a touch of menthol can also be detected, which add a burst of freshness to the whole. A palate full of citrus notes with a finish that is long and fresh.

This is a medium bodied and elegant Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. Its flavour profile is a mix of stonefruit, grilled nuts, grapefruit and yeasty nuances. It is both complex and delicious.
